The Joys of Plastic Parts.

One of the things about plastic parts in some areas is the way they hold up over time. On the 2016 Jenn Air dishwasher here one of said parts recently broke. It is about 8 years old now, so MAYBE not the worst, but I feel it could have lasted longer. You can see more details about it in the video.

Marathon Poster. Christmas Present!

An awesome Christmas present from my brother! It is a poster of Bungie's Marathon. A game that was originally released by them in late 1994, and still being played today! It originally came rolled up in a tube, and trying to show that would be next to impossible, so here it is all framed! Some other Marathon stuff I had received from another: ua-cam.com/video/XtrhE18aSN4/v-deo.html

    Lost your sunglasses? See in California, that'll cost you $500! The bigger question is, how did you lose them in the first place? The answer is simple: _You're just not focusing, Sharkie!_ I will say, Sharks do look pretty cool with sunglasses, like the "Would you like to try a combo meal" thermometer shark in my pool! How did the sunglasses stay? The physics tell me that the aerodynamics of the car kept them in place. While yes, there is plenty of air that flows through under the hood, there's a tremendous amount more air that flows over the vehicle. While indeed you did get lucky, I think the physics were actually on your side with that. That's yet another lucky break you've gotten. I hope this streak doesn't run out, but by the same token, I could use some around here!

    Things happen when misplaced the item and thinking it was missing and can't find one for what I need to use, and then the item appeared unexpectedly and wondering how did it happen and realized that the item is placed without knowing it and forgot about it. It just so happens when we have tendency to misplaced the items without knowing where we put the items away and getting lost, and then found the items and dumbfounded ourselves and found out why did we keep forgetting the items and misplacing it. Sometimes, we didn't think that we placed the item somewhere and thought it was there where we left it in the right place, and instead, it is in a different place without realizing it.

    I’ve lost dozens of sunglasses simply by putting them in random places I wouldn’t think of. I’m glad I’m not alone here! The best thing to do I’ve learned is to find a home for the sunglasses and put them in that spot away when not in use. I like to keep them in the center box of my car. This one time, my extended family and I were traveling a couple years back. On the bus, we were talking about how his $180 pair of sunglasses were superior in quality compared to my uncles. He tried them on and liked them. The cousin says, “you should consider buying these and stop settling for mediocre”. I then reply, “what if you loose them?” Better yet, imagine pulling off a stunt like you did here, but this time they won’t retain. I typically won’t spend more than $20 if they are a replacement pair, unless you are good at keeping track of them, of course.

    • @Sharkie626
      @Sharkie626 22 години тому

      Oh yeah I hear ya. Normally when I am done using the sunglasses, I always put them back in the center compartment of the car. THis time I got lazy, but thankfully I did not pay the price for it. I might not be as lucky next time!

    Excellent instructions, and thanks for saving us DIYers some $$$. Also discovered that you don't have to pull the center unit completely off the main body (chassis), just high enough to clear the wheels and remove them. This way, you don't have to struggle with putting the center unit back onto the chassis.

    Me personally, I think both rainbird and hunter rotors are great, they have pros that outweigh the others’ cons The nice thing rainbird 5000’s do that the PGJ/PGP/PGP ULTRA/I20’s don’t is you can fan out the spray all the way and still throw the full length as well as slip clutch which is super helpful for adjusting the fixed left stop, I’m pretty sure the only model of hunter rotors you don’t have is the PGJ, those red ones are likely PGP’s even though blue nozzle PGP’s do exist, the blue nozzle ones are most likely PGP ULTRA’s or I20’s, the PGP ULTRA is the upgraded version of the PGP, with features like slotted radius screw adjustment, PC/FC in one model, nonstrippable gear drive, the difference between the PGP ULTRA and I20 is that the I20 has a feature called flo stop which is where you can cut the flow to each individual head in case you got a wet spot, sod that hasn’t been laid, etc, the I20’s do require more water pressure though
